A flat roof that converts the power of sunlight into energy

In sunny Bern, we were honored to convert this flat roof into a solar power plant in the summer.

On the roof of Swissmedic in Bern, we were able to install a system with 114.35 kWp in the summer of 2023. Almost three hundred bifacial modules were installed using thePliaSys mounting system without penetrating the roof membrane. The modules are ready to capture the sunlight and convert it into energy.

Fall protection and foldable railing

In the emerging solar market, more and more flat roofs are being adorned with solar installations. These must be carefully maintained and protected. Conventional safety systems for our energy knights hardly fit anymore within the required standards. With the help of a safety rope system, our brave service knights can carry out maintenance tasks and complete the necessary work. Without penetrating the roof membrane, the safety rope system from TOP GREEN was quickly installed and proved to be cost-efficient. A foldable railing was erected, completing the setup by creating a protective barrier.
