Solar Armor for Sustaina​bility

In Galmiz, the neighboring village of Murten, this two-generation house was built in 2021. The building, which provides space for two families, relies on a sustainable roof covering with an integrated photovoltaic system.

«Roof design tailored to the building’s needs»

The photovoltaic system, oriented southwest and southeast, generates enough energy to supply both households. Due to its location and the extended sunlight exposure in the west, the heat pump can also be operated efficiently and environmentally friendly.

Both sides of the roof were covered with MegaSlate II modules. Aluminum composite panels were used for the edge trims. These panels help achieve a uniform and aesthetically high-quality appearance.
